This is a fake Confederate D-Guard Bowie. and  no original Confederate knife would be marked this way, simply FAKE!  It is too new and only worth about $50.00.

This  fake Confederate D-Guard Bowie often shows up for sale on Ebay.

The steel is not period to the Civil War, the grip is the wrong wood material, the way the guard is pinned is incorrect, the markings on the blade are fake, and the scabbard is newer leather.

This is most likely a House of Sword knife.
